A new year!

So, 2020, we finally meet!

Cant say how happy I am to see the back of 2019. It was a god awful year for me for a variety of reasons, but also a year I have learnt about the strength I have.

I am entering 2020 knowing I have a lot of hard times to come but also with the knowledge that if I can make it through 2019 I can face anything! With the strength of the amazing people in my life, my incredible daughter and also my resilience, determination and strength will get me through.

My BRCA 1 results still feel very new and raw, I still have a lot of processing and accepting of it to do but with each day it gets a little easier to live with. My grieving process for the life and health things I took for granted is kicking in now. Which is good for my processing but is a very emotional time.

So, 2020. You will be very hard at times. I have a long journey ahead. But I also know you are going to be MY year. I am going to live my best life, I am going to slay, and most importantly I am going to PREVIVE!
